track day experience

Train Like a Pro, Ride Like a Pro.

Your first track day shouldn’t feel intimidating. While many riders assume the track is only for experts, most participants are everyday enthusiasts looking to become safer, smoother, and more confident. A track day is a closed-course, controlled environment built for learning, with no traffic, intersections, or distractions. Just you, your motorcycle, and a purpose-built circuit focused on skill development. With structured sessions and experience-based group placement, you’ll never be thrown into the deep end—we meet you where you are and help you progress.

Track Day Timeline

Your SJBMW track day begins at 8:00 AM with a rider meeting where we cover safety, procedures, and the flow of the day. Immediately after the briefing, B-group rolls out first, with all groups rotating on track in 20-minute sessions throughout the morning. This means you’ll have roughly 40 minutes of rest between sessions. Around 1:00 PM we break for lunch, assuming the schedule stays clear and incident-free. After lunch, riding resumes with the same rotation until the day winds down, typically wrapping up between 4:00–5:00 PM

A San Jose BMW & Carters @ the track Training Experience.

San Jose BMW Motorcycles, in collaboration with Carters @ the Track, offers personalized 1-on-1 coaching so every rider receives focused, professional guidance throughout the day. We chose Carters because they set the standard for safety, bring top-tier coaches, and deliver one of the most organized and supportive track day experiences available.

To make your SJBMW track experience seamless, we provide a dedicated canopy setup, light refreshments, essential tools, and select parts, including Akrapovic baffles to help meet Laguna Seca’s 92 dB sound limit. Give us a call ahead of time for any specific needs so we can be prepared to accommodate you at the track.

Support That Meets You Where You Are

Our goal is to make sure you never feel like you’re navigating the track alone. Whether it’s suspension tuning, tire questions, electronics settings, or general prep, our staff is ready to provide whatever support you may need. We want every rider to feel confident, informed, and fully equipped to get the most out of their day.

A Community Built Around Two Wheel Passion

Above all, San Jose BMW track days are about community. We’re building a space where riders can connect, learn, and enjoy the sport together. From the paddock to the pit wall, you’ll find people who share your enthusiasm for speed, skill, and motorcycles. Our mission is to cultivate a welcoming environment where passion for two-wheel motorsport thrives, friendships form, and riders improve together.
