6th Annual SJ BMW Bike Show Presented by P&D Promotions and California Special BMW Motorrad R18 Unveiling

Bike Show

The 6^TH Annual San Jose BMW Bike Show presented by P&D Promotions will be held on Saturday June 17^th from 4-9pm at the corner of 1990 W. San Carlos St. and Bascom Ave. in the San Jose Motosport parking lot.

Bike show registration will be at 3pm at San Jose BMW. All makes and models are welcome to enter the show. The show will be a 20-dollar donation to enter. Each entry will receive a food voucher for the San Jose Don’s BBQ.

The bike show will have ten categories that will be judged, with an overall “Best of Show” being awarded to the top bike of all categories. The best bike in the ten categories will be awarded a prize and move on to the Best of Show Category.

Bike Show Attendees will also have the chance to win a $2500 Custom Parts Package with the purchase of one of two BMW Motorrad RnineT Standard Motorcycles. A one-on-one personalized customization appointment with the San Jose Motosport Parts Team will be included with the $2500 Custom Parts Package. The San Jose Motosport Parts Professionals will assist you in tailoring your customized package to your liking.

This $2500 Custom San Jose Motosport Parts Package will be limited to two motorcycles to choose from. A 2021 BMW Motorrad Black RnineT Standard or a 2021 BMW Motorrad White and Gold R Nine T Standard.

California Special BMW Motorrad R18 Unveiling

San Jose Motosport home of San Jose BMW will be unveiling the San Jose BMW “CALIFORNIA SPECIAL R18”.

We are so excited to share this project with the world. This bike has become so much more than a motorcycle. To see this 2021 BMW “FIRST EDITION” R18 fully loaded with reverse go from an idea to a sketch, to a completed design has been amazing. Every part of this bike was discussed, designed, re-designed, 3D printed, test fitted, and updated once more. The CSR18 retains all the BMW Motorrad stock functionality and all OEM features. The project has pushed the entire team at San Jose BMW Motorcycles LAB to the next level. CSR18 marks a milestone for the San Jose Motosport, Home of San Jose BMW team. The latest in 3D scanning technology was used to make a digital copy of the bike through a process called reverse engineering. Once the bike was captured digitally, we designed and modified custom parts to match.

CSR18 Concept

The concept of the California Special R18 was to take a stock BMW Motorrad R18 and make the bike visually lighter with a mix of vintage and contemporary while also paying tribute to the golden state.
